In 1995, Dr. Russell Riggs under the ministry of Starlight Baptist Church founded the Soldiers of the Cross Youth Camp that has been impacting countless young lives across Central Florida. SOTCYC has since provided an action-packed week of solid Bible preaching, Godly music, fun games and activities, and much more - all for the opportunity to change a life for Christ.

SOTC leases the Florida Baptist Encampment located in Groveland, FL.

In 2019, Youth Pastor Nate Pitts of Riverland Baptist Church was asked to become the director of SOTCYC. Together, both Starlight Baptist and Riverland Baptist work hard to provide the most exciting and life changing week of these kids' lives.  We invite you to come and see what you're missing!
